Still see lots of anti prepper media and comments. Theres alot of success hate out there. They call the preppers hoarders and blame them for the supplies being gone in the stores. This is actually not true as the preppers already had the supplies long before the incident but they need to blame someone for thier failures and preppers are an easy target. Expect they may start to arrest those with large amounts of supplies and take their stuff and call its hoarding critical supplies.

Excellent video - really not judging, this is my own opinion and is only to inform if it's not known. I in no way expect anyone to agree, just putting this out there, again, my opinion. I know a lot may raise rabbits for food but they are so so smart and sweet as pets Dogs then buns for this family. Their droppings are premium compost. They are so little care and such loving companions. They are easily litter trained, low maintenance and very loyal loving little guys. I just don't get how one could eat one, it would be like eating the cat or dog (raised dogs my entire life so I'm not talking to hear myself speak) they beg, they run at your heals to be with you, they lick you, cats are great but it's Dog Buns for this house just putting it out there. EXCELLENT CONTENT, WELL LAID OUT THANK YOU!

There is no escape. Eventually, you will face Jesus Christ at judgment...dont forget to prepare for eternal things. Repent and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ. WSHTF you need to realize that it is Gods judgment and wrath befalling an evil and non believing world. "Come out of her, my people, lest you be partakers in her sins" (rev)

The radio's are an obvious addition, but I decided years ago to supplement that with 2 small battery powered 7" and 9" TV's. They receive the local digital TV signals, one of which WAS a LIVE 24-hour local D/FW (North Texas) radar scan, up until the Weather Channel took it over, or the local station (ABC) sold it out to the Weather Channel. Don't get me wrong, I love the Weather Channel, but now the local digital signal has gone from "24-Hour no talk, watch the radar scan 360 non-stop with CONSTANT live update", to typical Weather Channel "Ads, talking, BS, and all around interrupting the scan update until they decide to show it again". With that rant out of the way, these TV's are still a VERY useful tool, especially if you're in SHTF like we were in February when we lost power for 4 days straight ! I DID do a refresh-charge on the batteries just before the storm hit and we lost power, so I knew they were gonna last. I was able to see LIVE updates...occasionally...to see if any new snow or ice was about to hit, not just FORECAST to hit as told on the radio. It was great to have that capability and see EXACTLY where the bad stuff was at, and going to. So one more hint from firsthand experience, get a small battery powered TV to add to the PREPS !

It´s kinda hard to get into prepping when you a re 17 years old, since you don´t have much money and your parents are like "SHTF will never happen, I´ll buy 3 extra cans of beans and that´s it", which is kinda annoying. But I´m doing my best to get the essentials asap. Firearms are by far not the most important tools for survival, but it gives you a good feeling having them, and the main reason to get some decent ones anyway is the fun factor, so why don´t have them? The only thing that makes it quite hard for me is also that I´m living in Germany where you are not even allowed to own a fully automatic airsoft gun with more than 0,5 joules, which is just embarrassing. But thanks to this videos I´m more into guns and try to get my hunting license when I´m 18 and the firearms license that comes with it. I´ve also already chosen my first own pistol to be the Norinco 1911 because of Sootch´s review. Very good content! I wish everyone who may read this luck to get through this crisis! And, last but not least, god bless America

Good video. Could you do a version of this for those of us who live in city apartments? I have no space for animals or a garden (apart from some pots), and not a lot of space for masses of food. Any tips? I’ve always wanted to get some filters and treatments and get some super dirty water, like my local river or a busy harbour and do the different versions and then test the results. I don’t trust them and have never found a good review of tests on different water purification methods. Like tablets or filters or straws or hydrogen peroxide or bleach. I store feminine products (people tend to forget it) and cotton yarn. Cotton yarn doesn’t spoil and can be knitted into clothes, towels, or even bandages. Wool is good but doesn’t work for towels and bandages. I also read about stomach medication as well, if you’re in a stressful situation things like that get exacerbated. Pasta is amazing. It’s really easy to make and stores really well if you buy it at the store. If you have eggs, access to milk, potatoes and a good store of flour you’re golden, there is so much you can do with that. Australia is very different. Getting extra prescriptions is very difficult, tasers and pepper spray is mostly illegal, and we don’t have many guns here.... I have a good cast iron fry pan?
