i don't know how the hell i missed this, but you've outdone yourself. from the best to god tier. the parameter lock recording is a juicy discovery!! and bubbe, that's one of my favorite lines from Snatch. instructual addendum: load a spliff, rack a skiff and patch along.
@robotopsyrobotopsy6486

You're the first to mention the Bubbe quote. i discovered ''The parameter lock trick'' by accident. If you sequence in preset normal mode with CV offset or CV attenuate and you go in ''EDIT'' mode... it'll get stuck on the base preset. So trying this with Trig Offset was pure luck.

your PH mk3 drum sounds are so good 😳 do you have any tips? any low pass gates used here? and are you mostly doing env. to pitch and amp. with some fm? they’re so beefy and perfectly idm 🛐

god damn that parameter locking too 😪 so good…
@robotopsyrobotopsy6486

I prefer using a standard Sinewave for my Kicks and maybe sometimes a bit of CV into one axis of the waveshape. I like the Intellijel's VCA for my percussions... they're so snappy !!! And sending an attenuate copy of the envelope to the Pitch. Preferable to use an envelope dedicated to the pitch to have separate control over the Amp & the Freq. And for an interesting dynamic variation of the kick, I'm using the trig for the kick to another Seqencer.... the uStep ( Intellijel ) So I try different pattern of triggers or divisions, but the idea is to have less of this second kick. I may duplicate the same path of Oscillator through a VCA... or using another Drum module. But most of the time, I'm sending an envelope straight to the mix or to the audio IN of a filter and adjust the cutoff and resonance to have something punchy ! Hope my explanations weren't too confusing ?

Thanx !!! On Patch:12 Preset ManageMAN has not yet acquired the power of the HDmk3 to mix it with the Bionic Lester mk3. I tried to follow the concept of the game that you can use the weapon of the boss once you've acquired it. From what I remember (cuz I lost my Notes only for this patch), a sample from the radiomusic is going to the Ext/FM input of the upper HD mk3, causing this effect.

Amazing video. Any chance of explaining a bit more what's going on in Patch 39? So CV is going in the PH External input, then through the BL into either the CV or external input of HD??
@robotopsyrobotopsy6486
6 ай бұрын
I'm sending a CV sequence from the SH mk2 and the clock out of the SH mk1. Both Clock and CVs are mixed with the Qotile, then sent to the external input of the PH mk3. Manualy, I morph through each presets of the PH mk3, with the preset trimmer. The CV processing is going to the channel A of the Bionic and the 2nd OSC of the PH mk3 is going to the channel B of the Bionic (and channel B of the BL mk3 goes to the Optomix). Using the Lapsus OS to add some elements to the patch, but does not affect the PH mk3. The trick is to process some CV with the PH mk3, and make some interesting presets. Then use any of the controls of the preset manager to travel between does presets.🤖

The input of channel A of the BL mk3 is multed to the input of channel B. I'm using to Legio to modulate the Hertz Donut mk1. So the bionic will act as a distributor. Having presets with different input amount will determine which output as more amplitude level. So the same signal can go to two different destination. In this case, it's the FM and the Sync Input of the HD mk1. I could have use two FX processing modules too. Like a bit crusher and a delay. I'm morphing through the presets of the bionic with the Miggs. I sent a voltage to the miggs otherwise this passive module does not send any voltages by itself. Each preset can have their own sets of filter modes. And when you use the Comb of the BL mk3 for FM'ing or Sync..... believe me crazy sound will come out of this @@james_44

@@robotopsyrobotopsy6486 You're a legend mate, thanks so much for that. I have a lot of the IME, including the MK1s, so I'll have a go at this as I have equivalents of all of the parts involved. Like I said mate, get a patch book written, even if just in pdf form. I'm sure you'd have a small but dedicated following that would get you a bit of well deserved money for your contribution to the community!!
