PRESIDENT IBRAHIM TRAORE, the president of Burkina Faso is diversifying the industrial sector of this WEST AFRICAN and SAHEL COUNTRY with the REOPENING of a long been asleep west Africa's LARGEST BEVERAGE FACTORY.
Opened in 2004, "BRAFASO" set pace as a magnificent and largest beverage and Brewery factory in West Africa.
BRAFASO, had provided over a thousand jobs for the people of BURKINA FASO.
BRAFASO operations ceased and stopped in 2008.
The owner of this factory which was producing beers and beverages in HECTA LITRES, declared bankruptcy, hence not continuing to inject billions of cash into this factory.
In 2015, the government had allocated over 15 CFA FRANCS through creation of an office to ensure that "BRAFASO" reopens again, this move was never realised.
Now, under PRESIDENT IBRAHIM TRAORE, Over 11 billion CFA FRANCS have been allocated for refurbishment of this factory.
BURKINA FASO industrial sector is booming, from gold mining to various subsections.
The economy of BURKINA FASO is greatly improving, BURKINA FASO is Africa's largest cotton producer.
PRESIDENT IBRAHIM TRAORE used this opportunity to LAUNCH a mega textile factory at the beginning of 2024.
