Karin Desmonds actually JFK was very conventional in his fashion. I’m saying this as a fan of his clothing. He was prep school and ivy league educated and his fashion sense was very preppy. This was how many men of his class dressed. He was a big fan of Brooks Brothers (down to the blue boxers). There are many articles of Kennedy’s Ivy League style (Nantucket reds, chinos, polo shirts). But the preppy style is a classic, timeless one. It’s always in vogue. 😊

They try and make people think that if he did not go to Dallas it would not have happened because of Oswald lived there. No he was just used, like he said a patsy. This would have happened no matter where the President went. They wanted him OUT he wasn't going along with their agenda. God Bless him. President Kennedy WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

@AraBianchi

Did you know that back in the 60s and before it wasn't populary known that smoking had negative effects on pregnancy/children? Simply cause studies and science where not as developed as they're today. I hardly think she did that with intention to hurt him or her other babies, she just didn't know. Smoking was very trendy in the era they lived (Mad-men esque) women are men did it yet nobody realmy had an idea of how bad it was for the health until medical research prove it. Jackie was a good mother, she just lived in a different time widely different from ours in some aspects.
@MrSS8864
5 жыл бұрын
Actually, yes, I DID know that, because I was already alive and aware during that era. For that matter, BOTH of my own parents smoked cigarettes at that time (as I myself also started doing in the Seventies. I still smoke tobacco today). The main cause of my comment was because I get so sick and tired of people giving the Kennedys too much credit for things they really don't deserve credit for. So on that one, I decided that I would turn the tables and blame them for things that they really weren't guilty of. I know that Jackie was not going out of her way to endanger her children or herself. She was not aware of the problems it may have caused. Only in hindsight did it become apparent that Jackie's smoking might have indeed played some role in Patrick Bouvier's illness and death. It may have been responsible for Jackie's own premature death at the age of 64 in 1994.
