The interview when Cole truly earned all my respect was on 106 n Park, when his stuff was charting to Timbaland beats, and he said his homies were disappointed because they knew HE knew he could do better lyrically, so he decided to go harder. Harder than smashing the charts??? Talk about humble and confident, he won my support that day and I'm highly critical as a true lyricist myself. I'm glad he's made good on his promise that day.
