Today I’m canning Swedish Meatballs !
I loosely followed the recipe from Pressure Canning for a beginners and Beyond ,,,,, by Angi Schneider ,,,,,,, this book is really an amazing book literally packed with recipes that are safe canning and really tasty ! I’ve done soooo many of her recipes and have not been disappointed by not even one !
I did modify the onions for this recipe
2 lbs ground beef
2 pounds ground pork
4 c chopped onions ,,,,,,, I used 3 cups in the video , I think 4 would be too much , and next time I think I would do 2 1/2 cups , not a taste thing just I want meatballs to be meat not too much onion , however the meatballs where excellent at 3 cups
1/2 tsp all spice
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
5 c beef broth
When heating up ,
Sour cream
Milk or cream
Flour for thickening
