I've used this sprayer several times now on brick pavers, a wood deck, patio, and a driveway. kzitem.infoUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX It has performed as expected on all surfaces. For larger areas like the decks and patios, I think I will be looking into a surface cleaner attachment to speed up the job, or at least make it a little easier. Hose and sprayer connections are tool-less, tight, and quick. I used the yellow nozzle on the concrete/brick surfaces, and the pressure was adequate for cleaning those surfaces.I am disappointed that these units are still being shipped with a nozzle storage holder that allows them to vibrate out of the holder way too easily and become lost, but I don't want to knock off a star for that reason. The functional part of the washer works very well, so I would recommend this product.

Somehow, I cannot reply on the last comment that you post on my last video, so I hope that you find this one. Yes when I downstream, the chemical would be weaker then using the X-Jet. It’s faster too down stream and x-jetting is stronger. I all ways use a 3% mix and post treatment with the same. A regular roof is about 5% to 6% but you don't need it that strong. 2% should be enough if you a using a 12-volt sprayer or pump sprayer. If you down streaming it will have to be stronger. Keep in mind what is below the roof and make sure you use a good surfactant to help it stick. Heavey water all plants and grass around.

I read through all the comments. First I do agree with everyone that said you did an awesome job explaining how to mix it. What I'm having trouble finding anywhere, and was not in any of the comments, is how many times do you have to remake that 5 gallon batch, to do a house? That's the kind of information that's needed because that tells me how much I'm going to be spending, cost wise, on s h for one job. Can you please answer that.
@Aqueminipressurewashing
9 ай бұрын
I really can't say. Maybe 5 gallons every 1000 sqft. The best way is to charge by the sqft. Let's say $.10 to $.20 a sqft. some people charge as much as $.30 a sqft. So spending $10 on SH is not that bad. You make your money on how fast you can get the job done.

@Aqueminipressurewashing

You are overthinking it. A 3% mix is a sweet spot. You can use it on a house or concrete. A roof uses a 6% but you need a 12 volt pump. If you watch other videos on washing it will give you a better understanding how to wash. Don’t just mix something up and think it going to work. You may have to change the mix strength to make it work. So be careful.

That's a good question. It's really hard to say. If it's mixed with some kind of surfactant it may last a few weeks. Here is what I do, I test it on a test spot to check the strength then I can add some fresh SH if needed. Just keep it in an airtight container at a good room temperature.

@Aqueminipressurewashing
6 ай бұрын
That doesn’t sound right. I don’t have a 8GPM machine but I believe that your X-Jet will pull the same as a 4GPM Machine because of the tip. Question for you is your X-Jet rated for a 8GPM machine? regardless which one that you have it’s gonna cut it in half if you run it open without any adapters. I could be wrong, but I have never seen a 15% SH. I feel that if you have a 3% mix with your 8 GPM machine it will still you a 1.5% mix coming out of the tip. Just having a 8 GPM machine is only just gonna use your chemical faster not change the strength. I will confirm this with some people and I may make a video about it.

If it's concrete use a 3% mix. If it's wood start at 1%. You can add more SH if needed to make it stronger. The soap is used to help the SH stick longer not to clean so use 1/4 of a cup. You can add more soap if you are dealing with dirt.

I stop measuring how much soap I use. Maybe a 1/2 a cup or 1 cup of soap. I just use enough soap to see when the SH comes out. But if you read the label on the soap that 1 gallon can make up to 20 gallons if you follow the instructions.

I have a question on a mix formula with the X-Jet system. I have 8 gpm machine and the X-Jet chart states 3:1 with no tip. How much SH do I put in the 5 gallon bucket to get 3%? I use 10% (SH). Thanks
@Aqueminipressurewashing
Жыл бұрын
You are going to get a 2.5% using 10%. Plus you will have to use 1 gallon of SH and 3 gallons of water. To help you get a 3% mix get the free version of quote IQ. I’m not sure what percentage you should use with a 8 GPM machine and your X-Jet. But it does have to be 3% it just works for me. You can use the 2.5% when washing. Just try to find you a sweet spot and just stick with that.

@Aquemini Pressure Washing Ok, so if I use 12.5% (SH) straight in the 5 gallin and use the X-Jet 3:1 ratio with a 8 gpm, that will equal to 3%? Again, only straight (SH) in the 5 gallon. No water dilution. Also, the Quote IQ "free" only does batch and downstream calculations. It doesn't work with the x-jet ratio. Which would have been a cool feature on this app. Thank you, Sir for all the help. Wish you the best this season. Michael C - (WA)
@Aqueminipressurewashing

Keep in mind whatever you have an a bucket it’s gonna be diluted when you downstream or X-jet. So your 3% mix is going to be cut in half or in your case it’s going to be a little bit more than half. But it should be OK because you can go lower than 1 1/2% when you do a house wash
@michaelc7283

@Aquemini Pressure Washing Yes, it gets a little tricky with the X-Jet system. Especially with the 3:1 ratio and what we use it for. Differently need to get the math right. @Aqueminipressurewashing

Don’t go higher that 6% unless you are using a pump sprayer. Now a 3% mix in your bucket will be cut in half with a X-jet and more when down streaming. That’s ok keep in mind you are killing what’s on the surface. Let the surface cleaner do all the work. And do a post treatment after.

You are right sir but I only mixed it down to 3% because I did 1 to 1 twice. So 1 gallon of SH and 3 gallons of water. They I use the X-jet to cut that in half gives me a 1.5%. I hope we are on the same page. Let me know. Thanks for watching and the feed back.

@milostea

Use a formula. You need three values: Tank size in gallons, initial SH %, and desired SH %. Let's say we want 1.5% of SH for cleaning vinyl siding; the tank holds 3 gallons and the initial SH is 10%. We will need 0.45 ((3/10)*1.5) gallons of SH in the tank plus 2.55 (3 - 0.45) gallons of water. The soap is 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) per gallon in the final mix.

I would use 1%. So if you down streaming out of a 5-gallon bucket have the bucket at 3%. Be careful using SH can stain the wood and leave streaks. It has to be put on even and don't let it sit too long. I would wet the wood first then apply the SH.

@Aqueminipressurewashing
Жыл бұрын
Remember you are making the strength of the SH. You made 12% in to 6% by cutting it in half. So if you buy 2 gallons of 6% SH you need 2 gallons of water to make it 3%. Now when you run that in the machine it’s going to cut the 3% in half with a X-Jet and a 10 to 1 ratio when you downstream. I think if you add 1 gallon of water to 2 gallons of 6% SH that will put you at 4.5%.
