Congrats on the new set up! I’m brand new to the pressure washing game, you’ve set up your truck very similarly to what I hope to accomplish. just received the bulk of my equipment and supplies. Ready to build the skid, would love to pick your brain if you’re willing to help out. Thank you for posting!! John

@@jonboysprowash7845 thank you again🙏. I’m still a couple days away from getting to the actual build. Just a few more pieces and I’ll be ready to start building. My main concern is the buffer and batch set up. I’m watching plenty of video’s. I will certainly be in touch, I truly appreciate your response and any input. your set up is what I’ve been envisioning building.

With strait bleach and not diluting your product, your max at tip is 12/15:1. You dont ever need to add water to your bleach, especially when batch mixing. I make manifolds with 6 port annodized block, 1/2" GF metering valves, etc. These blocks can run gas powered units. You HAVE to clean out your DS injector if your using brass and spraying quite a bit of bleach! If you aren't using 10+ gals, you will eventually use your DS injector for another chemical. The soft wash manifolds i make have a flush port, so you can turn off the valves, and run strait water through the block. As far as hose, YOU WILL NEED more line. Keep it on the truck and use it when you need. Throw a 25' in the back and run a camlock so you can decide, 100' or shorter hose. You are using a metering valve for a ball valve? I can help you out, just let me know if you want some pointers. I make 2-step remote boxes for fleet washing, remote system. You can use this same system to apply bleach as a DS setup, but you can apply different chems. There are endless options to make your life A WHOLE LOT easier.

Thanks for the helpful hints. If I look into getting any of the things you mentioned I will keep you in mind. If I run my bleach straight it is too hot and will burn everything up I spray it on. That is why I dilute it. I plan to make a video on this topic very soon. Thanks for watching.

@jonboysprowash7845 hmm. Never had that issue. I need bleach hotter than you can get it from a pw using DS. Let me know, I'm a good ol boy. Good prices!

do you use that same 50/50 to downstream when washing vinyl

Yes. 50/50 no soap. It makes batch mixing simple.

Is your mix still strong enough while downstreaming? I’ve always heard nvr cut just straight SH if ds with a 4gpm

Yes plenty strong enough. Unless it is some really old thick junk I only have to hit it once.

@@Anthonysni92 I would try cutting it and seeing how it works out for you. Mike Carmody uses a metering valve on his and pulls it straight and that is pretty smart.

For doing this as long as you have, you must not be doing something right. This is a beginner set up
