I have to admit that I may be a bit biased toward legal dramas. I grew up watching my mom watch a lot of Perry Mason, and now here I am, watching and covering Perry Mason. :) But bias aside, I thought these first two episodes were really strong. While I do have some concerns regarding whether or not this story can fill out 8 episodes, it’s already set up a lot of interesting dynamics, the central mystery is compelling, and Gyllenhaal is doing a great job of playing an attorney who just might be guilty of killing his colleague and is trying not to get caught. So check out my thoughts, leave your own, and remember to rate/comment/subscribe/share and ENJOY!
