Michael Brown had a crush on Rene’e Faden . As a result, he wrote this song about unrequited Love.

Wow, incredible......I did not expect such a spot on rendition all these years later. I've always considered tLB to be vastly underrated and am glad to see them finally starting to get their due, as are many groups of that genre/era. Thank Brian Wilson.

Yes, Shadows Breaking Over My Head is another haunting and timeless song from them. Rock should have went more this direction, we'd all be better off.

During the sixties there were so many magical songs that it is very difficult to choose a one favorite but if I had to choose one pretty ballerina would be it because for some reason that song has stayed with me all these years

Yes, Kathy, I'd also say this one as well as Beatle's Michelle, Beach Boys God Only Knows, Traces of Love by Classics IV, John Denver's Annie's Song, Wichita Lineman by Glen Campbell and Under My Skin by The Four Seasons; it's in my timeless top ten and will never fade away.

When he says not surprised at all he means something internal, a knowing, something very special here. Not an egotistical standpoint. I absolutely love this song!

I find some enjoyment in life in this tonight waiting from today my MP3 is new and getting loaded I love the earlier as Walk Away Renee is the name of a girl chosen from the neighborhood while growing up as the production. This is the finest as Step Hen Grey a Navy guy who swears he plopped in the Navy to visit the 7 seas seems to be one face the group portrays being younger of age I appreciate the value as he may be an airhead you know only in fun we tromp together.😍

Why is George just standing in the background like he's bored? He was the drummer, why isn't he at the drums??
