This presentation describes the Prevent-Teach-Reinforcement (PTR) model of developing and implementing an individualized positive behavior support process in typical school settings. Research supporting the efficacy of the PTR model is reviewed along with the process and tools. Case study examples are shared, as well as descriptions of application in diverse school environments.
