She spoke so much faster on that one Tiffany piece with the daughters. More mature now and polished, but it is sad that time takes away the looks of women. She looks good, but it is a stark comparison. Guys can get lucky and look better with age.

Thank you... Beautiful peace, never seen anything like this during the last 50 years of buying and selling art glass. I would like to see what this piece would look like in a dark room with a light shining through it

I have always loved old art glass (Any OLD glass tbh, especially English) and this is amazing :) ''Art'' glass got common, massed produced, esp. in China, and the market devalued, because too few people actually understand what went into producing these items. They buy ''bling'' instead that cost $2 to make for $50 and consider it a great bargain piece. *sigh*

A beautiful piece. But please don’t take it to Rick’s. Rick will start the rehearsed Kabuki theater act, will make faces, breathe heavily several times, and after 11 seconds with a prolonged sigh, will then tell you straight looking into your face, (like he’s about to do you a favor), that he has to keep it shelved for God knows how long, that it doesn’t sell, and finally says: “I’ll give you $3,000.00 and that is my final offer”.

Did anyone else catch that she was named after the family dog and the family dog was named after Tiffany Co? Is it normal to name people after dogs? If not, I am terribly sorry to this beautiful woman.

If your love of an antique is in any way impacted by its price, do it a favor and throw it in the trash. Same thing if you don't enjoy the item as the maker intended, especially if you're going to remove it from the wild. Antiques belong to everyone. They're manifestations of ideas, and ideas can no more be owned than dreams in the night that fleet in the light. Even "our" thoughts aren't ours. Don't think so? Try to stop them from coming.
