I bought that same Lynx grill about 5 years ago and absolutely love it! I use mine weekly. One of my igniters quit working about 6 months ago and I'm finally getting around to changing it after having to light it manually all summer. One thing I may suggest to people that want a Lynx grill; DON'T get a model with all trident burners! Even though Lynx says they will go down to 300* I still find that WAY too hot for slower cooking - trust me! I actually find that I use the two standard burners about 90% of the time. But nothing sears a steak or burgers at high temp like the Lynx grill trident burner!

Very nice...I just replaced 2 of my hot point ignition probes with no trouble at all. They light now with almost no delay. Thanks for watching!

Thank you very much, I use the space all the time, we had a crawfish boil yesterday with 12 guests and watched the VGK beat the Blues on the outdoor TV. So much fun!

Would you be able to do an overview of your outdoor kitchen? I am looking for some ideas of how to set one up sometime down the road.

Yes I could do that, I took some time to plan out how we wanted our outdoor space to feel before we pulled the trigger. So glad we did that. Thank you! Thanks for watching

Do you add coarse salt before cooking it, don't the holes in the trident burner get clogged with salt? I have that problem

Hi Dan. Any issues after several years of having the grill? For instance issues with the trident not igniting. I've read issues with the trident specifically. Thx.

Hi Eugene, no real issues that I haven't been able to solve quite easily. I did have to replace the rotisserie motor power jack once. About $16. Other than that, the Trident pro sear burner ignites effectively every time. Love my Lynx grill. Thanks for watching!!!

Hi Dan, I'm considering purchasing the full trident version of this grill. What are your thoughts about going totally trident?
@superstrut1

Well, I do love the Trident burner which is absolutely great for searing, but I always use it on full high heat setting. I have not tried cooking anything less than high because I have the 2 standard ceramic burners on left and middle. I really like that I have the option, so me personally, I wouldn't change my configuration.

@ Dan Johnson, Hi Dan, I enjoyed your video. I just recently purchased a free standing version of this grill and I love it. When cooking your steaks, do you keep the left burner off or on low? When you move the steak off the Trident burner do you close the cover or leave it open? Do you turn off your Trident burner after you move the steak to the indirect heat?

Hello and thanks for watching. Left Burner, off. Middle burner, medium. Trident sear, high. Cover open while searing anything, you get nice flame action which helps with searing. After searing, I move the steaks to the far left burner which is Off. I shut off the sear burner. Close the cover now. Continue cooking meat with indirect heat at this point to desired doneness. Medium rare only needs 4 to 5 more minutes of this indirect heat to be perfect. Don't forget to remove meat and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes prior to slicing! Enjoy, hope I helped you out!

I'm such a fan of these products. My entire layout is Lynx. Napoli Oven, Power Burner, 30 inch sink with outdoor rated Lynx faucet, multiple cabinets and 2 trash pullouts, and of course, the star of the show, 36 inch Lynx built in grill with rotisserie. 2 ceramic burners and 1 trident pro sear. Well worth the price.

I might be limited to a 27.or 30 after measuring here. To be honest I’d mostly be cooking steaks and hamburgers would you still mix the burners ( like yours) or just go all trident burners?

@@farmbo223 what I've found is that the sear burner has intermittent production of heat on low settings. It needs to be on high to be most efficient i think. I would do 1 ceramic and 1 sear if that was my option

@@thejackpotjake So, I've not had any issue with the oven getting enough heat to the tray stone. You do need to allow the heat to build up sufficiently, min 45 minutes of High burner... Also, 15 min prior to cooking a pizza, turn down the burners about 20% to avoid scorching the pizza
