Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay as they are known in Scotland, visit Ballater in Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire Scotland. They attended the new Heritage and Community centre in the Victoria Halls in Ballater, opposite the restored Railway Station, then enjoyed a stroll through the town, meeting local shop owners and members of the public.
Prince Charles, 72, was wearing a traditional kilt with tweed blazer, while Camilla was wearing a black, grey and red check tartan knee-length skirt, covered with a cream blouse and grey waistcoat. The Royal couple have their Scottish home at Birk Hall just outside Ballater and are very supportive of the local community. Ballater is close to Balmoral and the old railway station was the arrival point for Queen Victoria when she visited Balmoral.
