One of the best intros to a song I've heard in a long time

Still not quite convinced I really do exist I always start and end in the same spot Just when you might have thought I'm doing fine, I'm not I swear I just read the vibes right Clearly, you're not down with my enthusiastic bullsh*t When you're with your drunk friends Watch me tone it down a notch I cut down on the talk And be right where you want me If I ever find myself I'd stay Out of my motherf*cking way Malleable and shapeless I sway the conversation Line by line, I turn it into math I've never been good at that So I'll stick to a laugh Maybe try out a safe joke If I ever find myself I'd say If I ever find myself I'd say "I can smell your room strictly from your exhale You think you're so cool but leave out certain details" I feel my heart stop beating I'm done this time I mean it I know myself like no one else And I hate every second Just like, just like, just like Paranoia but I'm always right

Prince Daddy is my favorite band at the moment. They're helping me through some of the toughest years I've ever faced. I have very acute depression where I can't really enjoy music at all like I used to, but I fell in love with this band and want to thank them profusely for their work. I'm super obsessed with Kory's voice (I think that's his name) and find myself trying to emulate it with everything I sing including my own music (which is kind of hurting my voice lol). I actually saw them live at the Amityville Music Hall and It was an amazing show. I had the opportunity to meet Kory in the crowd but was too star struck to go up to him. I hold them up at the same level as a lot of other similar bands that are getting way more recognition. The chord progressions that they come up with are PURE GENIUS. From 2:12 onward the progression is awesome and similar in chord-packing style to their song "Nikas got it wrong" (which is one of the songs I keep going back to because that song never gets boring to me) I can't wait for them to come out with more stuff. I wish they played adult summers pt 1 and 2, because I think that might be my favorite but it's extremely hard to pick :D

Fuck I feel that. I’ve had depression for the past few years and music just isn’t the same anymore. It was a major part of my identity growing up and now it just doesn’t hit me the same way anymore. I often feel alienated from people and shit like fest highlight videos just really make me feel like everyone else in the world feels loved and has found their place in the world within punk rock and it just reminds me that I’m going to die feeling worthless and alienated and regretful and alone. Funny enough prince hyena kind of breaks through that a little bit so I’ve been jamming them all dayz

@@HeartandSoundTN Hey man, I known it's infinitely tough out there and how hard depression ways down on you day in and day out, but please believe me that you aren't worthless. That little bit you feel when even just a single band breaks through is proof of that, grab a hold of that and meditate on it, and remember it's okay to have more of that feeling regardless of how hard and cruel things are. I don't know you, but I'm truely rooting for you. Stay safe, buddy.

@@eligeldhof3029 Woah! The same exact thing happened to me today. I think the big contrast is how ITYDELL, Adult Summers and their work here have a heavy focus on catchy melodies and shrill, energetic riffs, while CTS is this dramatic opera of angst and emotion, which takes a while to soak in.
