Yea and in PG County the wealthy blacks distance themselves from the low income ones. I had a home boy who's daughter liked hood guys sneaking out the house from Bowie to Seat Pleasant and ends up getting car jacked.

BLACK PEOPLE THE HEALTHIEST That's not true, maybe Africans and Caribbeans are but not us because here in Ameri... where so used to not dieting, eating healthy, getting the rite amount of vitamins and minerals and following safety guidelines when a virus like this hits, even thogh where wearing mask more than ever still a lot of children and teens aren't wearing mask and no one is saying anything about it, even on the news. Children and teens can be carriers and effect everyone else in a building especially a apartment building, all they have to do is sneeze and the entire building is effected and even though people wear mask it still can get in the eyes. This message should be shared with many especially in P G C

None of the money from property taxes is being used properly. Tax payer money is being wasted. The same public schools that were around 50 years ago in Prince George's County are the same schools barely standing today. Why aren't new schools being built? Everyone living in this county who knows better has their kid enrolled in a private school somewhere, but these same people are paying thousands in property taxes that are suppose to go towards updating public schools and making conditions in the county better. Residents are paying all this money in property taxes, but they get NOTHING in return for it. No better schools, no great health-food grocery stores, nicer restaurants, modern clubs, etc. And it's because black people must vote, vote for the right people, and complain to politicians and officials. Politicians must be regularly bombarded with letters, visits to their offices, or even VOTED OUT of office for major changes to happen. Also, the crime in this county is outrageous. It's the reason why people and business WITH MONEY and capital to build don't come to this county. Businesses are avoiding black neighborhoods because they're concerned about theft, crime, and looting of products. No one is going to invest in an area where crime is prevalent. Black people must have much more structured and organized households. Get MARRIED before having kids to create better and more supportive home environments for youth to stay out of trouble.

Yes PG is a great place to live. We move from DC in 1980 and raise I’ll kids and now we grandparents. Only difference now is to many immigrants. I hope PG do something with the land where Landover Mall was at. A Mega Mall !

Pg county is okay just okay. Its more ghetto than affluent just being real. I live in PG and honestly its going down. Although Mitchellville where I live and Woodmore are still the nicest parts of the county

Then why is pg school district is failing and have high taxes ? This I my concern
@agray012002

It is failing because the blacks fell for the affluent nonsense, without demanding that its elected officials make this county equal or better than Montgomery, Fairfax. Howard etc. compared to them this County is pitiful.

@Sean 85: Heroin addicts?? Crack heads?? I take it that you don't live in Owings Mills, especially the area around Wegmans, Costco, etc. It's VERY affluent...

@Sean 85: if you live in Pikeville, then you'd know that there's 2 sides to Owings Mills (the Reisterstown Road side, which does have a lot of "riff raff", and then there's the other side near Newtown, where the mall used to be, etc). My point is that it sounds like you generalize too much.

The affluence you see is somewhat fake. All enabled by historically low interest rates. That allows people to make the monthly debt payments on their affluent lifestyle. Window treatments/blinds and manicured landscaping is a good factor when determining if homeowner can actually afford the total cost or just maintain the monthly debt.

Esp with this generation of self hating black youth who don't think slavery was real and all whites should be invited to the cookouts. It's a shame
