Hi Rachel I have just tried your tip for printing on tissue with success. Then I thought would it work on plain napkins and it did. I separated the napkin down to 1ply before I stuck it to my paper and I also trimmed off the embossed edge of the napkin. I'm pleased to say it worked so I can now use some of the lovely napkin designs I copied from Pinterest. Thank you for you very helpful video.

@@stitchwithrachel ah I thought so :) I'm there at the weekend trying one of the new restraunt tattoo I think 🤔 I'm worried about the smudging as I wanted to use this method to decoupage jars and wooden boxes ect but they would need to be sealed with pva. I off to buy a printer in the next couple of days not sure if I can get away with using a normal inkjet or to get a laser but there so much for expensive for a colour one 😩 what would you suggest?
@stitchwithrachel
5 жыл бұрын
Have a lovely time in Birmingham! Yeah laser printers are soo expensive, so I'd recommend a good quality inkjet. If you get a HP one they do an ink subscription which works out good value. With the smudging, it will only be ever so slightly and with tissue paper the image gets a little washed out because it being so transparent. But try not to use loads of pva on top and dont use large strokes that will carry the colour, just dab the pva on top of the image so then even if the colour bleeds you wont drag the ink around with large strokes. I hope that makes sense. Most of all, have fun with it!
