When I'm in the kitchen, or tidying up around the house, I find myself humming "I am the very model..." I had no idea this character would have such a profound impact on me. He felt guilt, but didn't make it a pity party. He took action. I love his quirks, his brain, and his heart. Had to be him.

Mordin realizing the mistake he made while working on the genophage and trying to redeem himself by helping to cure it is beautiful

I know Mass Effect has an official theme, but “Vigil” is easily just as memorable. If not more. Never fails to make me cry from both sadness and happiness.

I'm really looking forward to meeting Urdnot Mordin in the next Mass Effect game. It's going to make smile while simultaneously choking me up.

Something that took me years to notice about this section of the game is Mordin's speech cadence. Typically when he's talking, it's very quick, just saying enough to get the message across, while simultaneously thinking on a dozen other projects.

Even tho I play paragon, in this mission I like to hold off on telling anyone about the salarian deal so that I get the confrontation between Shepard and Mordin. The whole conversation is super well voice acted and then his line “I MADE A MISTAKE!!!” just hits home super well. I always let him cure the genophage of course, but I love that bit of dialogue that most paragon players miss

That's what great writing is all about. We only knew Mordin for one game but damnit he worked his way into our hearts in a short amount of time.

Doesn't matter how many times I seen Mordin die its never any easier. The variations of how that unfolds is really good as well, "I made a mistake!" Is so powerful.

No cap I cried at every character death when I played this at launch in high school, and I cried again when I played the LE. Few games have characters I’ve grown as attached to as Mass Effect, or have reduced me to tears as much as ME3.

One of the "best" moments of the trilogy - one to remember, and what a character Mordin is!

I must be one of the few who actually likes the Shepard dream / nightmare sequences. They drive home how much the war, the loss and the sacrifice is affecting her.

These characters are timeless. I'm glad people are still enjoying them 10 years later.

Mordin's death still gets me everytime. Even watching your playthrough and how you reacted to that scene brought tears to my eyes again even if I've experienced that scene numerous times.

Yeah… I cried too the first time. Still tear up even watching it now.
