God bless you for making it out of a crazy environment such as that! Even though you are strong, you experienced a great deal of trauma witnessing things like that and Lord please deliver that man that experienced the rape and psychological tyranny that he had to endure. Prison should be only for serial killers, pedophiles and rapists because regular ppl who happen to caught up doing a crime don’t deserve to be locked up like that because it turns ppl to monsters. My brother ain’t punk and always held his own but I can only imagine the things he witnessed while locked up because he was never after going in.

Oh, absolutely ... I, along with my younger, severely disabled, sister, was sexually abused, if not raped, from when I was 14, to 21. It only ended around the period of being between 21 - 22, was eventually due to what was then called a nervous breakdown. But, what made things worse, was the fact my mum quite likely knew, but didn't do a single damn thing. On the very day he was sentenced, having taken the equivalent here in the UK of what is a plea deal, by doing so, and the laws being what they were, the Judge's hands where tied, meaning he could only give a maximum of a 9 year sentence. But, before I knew any of that had happened, on the morning I was leaving for essentially a technical community college, knowing that he was likely to go to prison, just as I was about to leave, she turned to me, as we were both still in the kitchen, and asked "well, who's going to pay for my mortgage now ..." ... In talking to my therapist, she (the therapist) pointed out that no only was that what my mum said was amongst the worst she has ever heard of, but she (my mum) was perhaps the most dysfunctional woman, and mother, she had the displeasure of knowing about. In fact, my therapist suspects that between not wanting any more sex, especially after my mum had hysterectomy when roughly between her very late 30's, to early 40's, and she being too embarrassed by his affairs, in the late 1970's, to early 80's, when I was somewhere between 6 - 8, but not wanting to leave him, as he financed everything, but, rather, pimped both us kids out to him, so he didn't have to seek his sexual satisfaction elsewhere ... I have a pretty dark humour, but the one place I don't go is the whole 'don't drop the soap' thing, because it connects all too well to what he did to us both, especially my sister whom, due to complex reasons, is barely mobile on her feet, but is almost entirely non-verbal, and non-communiative, didn't have a chance to remain a ... well, you can guess where I'm going with that. He robbed her of that ... But even though in many ways she had it worse, there's cold comfort in that she may not have known what was going on. My worst nightmare is that she is fully cognisant, above being sentient, and her mind is trapped inside an unimaginable prison. She has no mouth, but she can't scream, except for when she loses her temper ... But, in another way, I have it as bad. I knew exactly what he was doing, but not why, as alongside with my mum's clear indifference. As my grades were collapsing, instead of asking what the hell was going on, she just screamed at me for being lazy, stupid, and incompetent. She was that oxymoron of being over-/hyper-attentative, but under nurturing. And if that wasn't enough, after he was jailed, she would visit him in prison, but made me arrange it, as she couldn't be bothered constantly ringing an engaged line, until it actually rang through. But it gets better. I knew she was unwell, due to her spine was curving due to scoliosis, directly causing a lung to be crushed. Before she died on the 2nd March, 2020, unbeknownst to me, having his probation period ending years ago, in the final 2-3 years, my dad was her carer. I can't describe what that is like: to know that my dad was taking care of her, but it was a reciprocal relationship. The only reason they got divorced was because, in her mind, that was a 4D chess move, in order to avoid my sister being taken into care by Social Services. That failed, and they did that, anyway ... ... so to learn that just ripped open those scars that never quite healed, whilst opening up new ones ... For the author of this video, I am not trying to diminish your experiences, but, instead, by sharing my story, is my way of saying "I know ...": different lyrics, but similar rhyme and rhythm ... For outsiders looking in, it is pretty hard to understand that trauma, but the genuine fear of the stigma, and disbelief. Worse, as we are living in the whole 'Alpha, Beta, Sigma' BS, to admit to being raped, rather than sympathy, you are seen as a Beta; worse, in the case of prison rape, you where treated - unless it was mutually consensual - as someone's bitch in exchange for commissary. For offenders barely nearly, or out of their teens, being turned out must be a horrible experience, including those whom weren't given the choice to not do that to someone that young. They must live with utter disgust at themselves, having been told what to do, but, with no-where to run to, and especially unable to send flags, or similar, being held captive by a 'bigger' figure than you. I am not saying that our justice system, her in the UK, is any better - in fact, it's almost as bad - but the dehumanisation of prisoners, especially in certain states. I only know of one particular prison, in Arizona, almost governed by a notorious Sheriff, and his fondness for open air 'cells', due to my fiancé living in Flagstaff. Granted, Southern Arizona is virtually a desert, but it was, and remains, almost sadistic, to keep those prisoners, out side, at the mercy of the weather. He couldn't care less about it being broiling hot during the day, but almost freezing at night, to the point it may even snow. Talk about the lack of humanity ... Which then feeds into why prison rapes are so under-reported. Due to the near dismissive nature of sexual crimes against men, my fear is that the sheer breadth and depth of male prison rape, is vastly larger than anyone dares to recognise, which, if maybe true, that may very well mean that there is sufficient statistically significance to show that, at best, male rape victims are the same as women, or, at worse, is higher, because no-one has really bothered to do an in-depth, longitudinal study, of male rape in prision, meaning many more are suffering in silence ... ... and we wonder why a certain age bracket of men have the highest risk, not just of other men, but women as well, of actually dying by suicide, by using lethal means ... but, unfortunately, I can't see any truly, pro-active, governmental, action on any/almost all, of the above ... it's a tin can perpetually kicked down the road to the next guy ...

A person will use rape to have power over someone, sometimes it's not even the sex act itself but how powerful it makes them feel. A lot of serial killers kill for that same sense of power, feeling almost God-like in their minds. Others are just repeating a vicious circle that may have started with them being abused. I never, thank GOD, saw ANY prison rape when I was locked up! At the same time, I spent the majority of my bit in prison camps. Prison camps are the lowest level that a prisoner can be in before going home. In other words, a prisoner is “ close to the door”, as we used to say. Most prison rapes happen in the higher levels like 4 and 5. Those levels have prisoners serving huge amounts of times with much serious crimes. You are correct when you say that rapes are usually performed on white frail guys, who look like they can’t defend themselves. The white guy, in your story, set himself up by getting a debt that was hard for him to repay! I’d rather get my ass beat than to be raped. We used to say that a prisoner has 3 options- Buck, Fuck or get Locked up! As a prisoner, a person may have to deal with these options at some point. Once it gets out that a prisoner has been raped, things dramatically change for them going forward. People will take advantage of them all the time. I was never raped while in prison. I didn’t put myself in that type of position. An inmate would have had to kill me before he would rape ME! I appreciate your narrative of what you saw and knew about while in prison. It is heinous, but it does go on! If you allow yourself to be a victim, then chances are, you will be! Prison is not a country club. It’s a dangerous place. Peace. BTW- I’m from Flint!

From what I saw..... they get at dudes like dudes get at women on the street. They subtly invade personal space... it's kind of like a boxing face off where they face each other and then one boxer might put his hand out to the other for a handshake and during that handshake he might pat his opponents stomach to size up his abdominal strength to know if he has been training correctly. It's all real subtle. Other dudes who aren't booty bandits will, I repeat, will intimidate a man just for the purpose of pimping him out to other men... but even then, it all starts out subtly. I never been to prison, but im honestly start to think alot of these dudes are sleeping with punks in there. Its a common thing among prisoners. Its not everybody but alot. These women try to put it on black men, but lets be specific its streets ninjas.

You could have written a book base on what goes down in prison.Perhaps you could write a novel to make your stories more dramatic, put your creative spin or embellish.Who knows you could very well write a movie script.
