EY India is a horrible place. People who leave the office before 11 p.m. are marked half-day. They celebrate toxic overtime until 3-4 a.m., be it women or men. It's totally unnecessary. The Western nations are seeing a rise in nationalist sentiments and the locals are objecting to skilled labour via immigrants. Few years down the line they might stop hiring Indians, then what?? We have to ensure that our country becomes ideal for private sector employees. Voice out your concerns, choose the right govt. by voting for the right reasons. Restrain yourselves from splurging and getting into EMI traps. Once you get into the EMI traps then you are bound to become a corporate slave. Be patient to buy lavish homes and fancy cars. It is good that somebody articulate is bringing this issue to the forefront. It is a serious issue. It happens everywhere and nobody talks about it. This has to become a movement.

Are you thinking that its happening only in one organisation. Its happening in most of the organisations and MNCs but they ensure that those matters will not reach to outside public. Its all about set of toxic managers existed in every organisation and MNCs. Company ask us to exit but they never take action on them because its not companys pain. Right. We think that we are living a respectable life but we are slaves to them. No one will share these kind of things with you (Except your loved ones) because they want that you also fall into same trap and feel that pain. MESSAGE TO FRESHERS AND CA Aspirants

Human beings are not slaves. Today big companies in India are employing people as modern day slaves. We don't see Politicians working 70 hours a week. Then why should the common citizen working in these corporates have to work 18 hours a day?

The US companies have different parameters KPI and payout for employees working in US and opposite to the employees in India. In India they want you to give every second of 9 hours and more.

18 hours workday is normalized, glorified and expected out of employees by many big MNCs in India, these same MNCs would not do that outside India. Indians are being seen as donkeys to offload work to and India is seen as a huge factory willing to operate 24x7x365. The Indian government is happy to take tax from us without ensuring the bare humane conditions to work. The government does not help taxpayers when they are laid off, but would happily collect the taxes from us when they aren’t even giving us the basic necessities. Why India's work culture cannot be like that of other countries. Indian government should make laws in favor of workers/labor and humanity because who makes Someone among us made the work culture toxic, poisonous and hell for their own benefit, not someone who comes from outside.
