I am really enjoying your videos, not only because they talk about the scrambler but the content is clear and easy to understand. I never write comments on youtube but I would like to give you my support. You are doing great content videos. Congrats!

I almost never comment on videos, but felt I needed to just say a massive thanks! Watched your other Scrambler vids too and they are all consistently well explained content that is just bang on the money for your average Joe level of rider. Keep it up 👍🏻👍🏻

Oh awesome thanks mate! I really appreciate that, and I’m planning on starting at the basics and getting into the more complex topics as I go along, so it’s definitely good I’m getting it simple enough.

Thanks a lot for the amazing content. I got a Scrambler 1200 XE to offroad with so I'm really happy that I found your channel that has a lot of really informative content about my specific bike. Looking forward to your next video about dialing in the suspension on this bike!!

Hey man love your work. So setting suspension especially rear,, where do you have it set to get the right measurements- , like wind it right up or down , you didn’t seem to cover this in video

Good point - start with it wound all the way up to the top of the thread. It’s not something that needs to be millimeter perfect though (unless you’re off-road racing!) so even if you did your measurements while it’s wound on a bit, you’ll be in the ballpark

What weight are you as a base for rider and gear etc for your bikes settings?
@lifeofascrambler

Great question! That’s gonna be covered in the next video, but as a guide I’m 80kg - so I’ll be going through how to calculate and set your preload to match your weight, and then how to adjust the tension and compression accordingly.

In general, these are pretty interesting videos for beginners. However, the fact that you don't put enough effort to learn all of this in advance, and as a result you're not looking in the camera, bothers me big time. It basically suggests that you don't know what you're talking about and you have to read in real time. My suggestion would be to either learn things you want to talk about prior to recording, or do a voiceover to clips instead of showing your face that much.

Thanks for the feedback! Im not sure if you’ve done much talking to a camera but I find it can be a bit difficult to get used to, and I’m trying to make sure the information is delivered right, and that I don’t go off on a tangeant. I also don’t have much time to rehearse these multiple times before I talk on camera, because I run a motorbike garage in my spare time on top of a Fulltime job so I figured if I just get in front of a camera and deliver some useful info it’ll be better than trying to make it all absolutely perfect every single time.

@@lifeofascrambler I like your delivery and appreciate you call in the experts for technical matters like these. That's common sense and wisdom at work. There will always be those who would like more and perhaps they would benefit from seeing an expert themselves rather than have unjustifiably high expectations of free you tube videos. Keep up the good work, I'm learning lots and have been riding over 40 years.
