Awesome! Woo hoo! After the transmission you needed an easy/lucky fix. Those electrical demon fixes can make you go mad sometimes 😆💕👍

Good news! You have awesome, engaged viewers. I think that breaker was installed with the solenoid that’s connected to the solar system.

Dave, glad you fixed it, and here’s a good side of KZitem. People like you building things, that help us, we try to help each other. The grounding issue doesn’t surprise me, but the voltage drop is a mystery to me. I wish I was up on all the newer stuff, plug in testers, etc. Just happy it was an easy fix.

Good for you and always drive safely. Enjoy the build.... Oh regarding the higher batt voltage after start, the alternator is doing the right thing to replenish the high amps drawn from the battery at crank. I use to sell Interstate batteries until the shop closed... I usually use their MTP (and they are coming out with newer models). I think 13.8 to 14.4 is the charge range... all normal.

Small black thing with 2 screws sticking up - Thats an old fashioned self-reseting breaker. FYI they do go out sometimes and it would do you good to remember them, they're an "AH HAH" moment after passing through every damn fuse you can possibly track down. "SELF-RESET AUTOMOTIVE CIRCUIT BREAKER"

@@EndgameCampers I think Utube deleted my comment because of a link I added. They're not all self resetting, sometimes these have a very small button to press to reset. Look up manual reset inline circuit breakers, I usually cut them out and add a blade fuse in its place if it goes out. A lot easier to find on the road than these breakers.

Crowd-sourcing these issues seems to be paying dividends. Glad to see you getting things sorted out. Best Of Luck

Last year I went ahead and bought an Ancel PB100 power probe on ebay for about $60. The recommandation of a ford mechanic I follow on youtube convinced me to try it (thanks to Ford Boss Me)! Have used it for RV and vehicle mods and repairs and don't know how I lived without it before-LOL😂
