Yes that is true, but anything will look bad, without good lighting. Good lighting is very important for all artworks.

Very Nice, looking forward to using it in some of my scenes. maybe as a hornet's nest, it can work like that too. Ever considered honey texture, like in the way that you did the ice? Great job, nonetheless.

Maybe a dumb question, but if I wanted to sculpt on top of the procedural texture, how would I do that? Would I need to bake the node tree or something? Cheers

Awesome video. Thanks! What does adaptive subdivision add to this example? I thought it was more an optimization for complex scenes.
@RyanKingArt

yes, it optimizes the scene better. 👍 but for just single objects, you may not need to use it.

When is it required to put a Texture in the "Fac" and when in "Color 2" . . . for example... what is here exactly the difference... ? can someone explain this please?

The factor value determines where it will show color 1 and color 2.

did you check over the displacement settings? that I turn on? you can check the timestamps for the part at the beginning where I go over important displacement settings to turn on.

Im seeing a lot of tutorials, yours and from others youtubers, but when i want to do one model by myself i doesnt look how i wanted to be, do you have any tips or something?

Hmm, maybe try to learn the fundamentals of 3d modeling, and once you have a more solid base of the 3d modeling basics and workflow, you will be able to make your own stuff more easily.
