If you are facing any issue, complaint, or grievous with any bank and relevant not resolve your issue or not give a reasonable answer, then you have a right to file a complaint to Bank Mohtasib (Banking Ombudsman) under Section 82 (d) Companies Ordinance 1962.
Bank Mohtasib (Banking Ombudsman) is an independent authority established under the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to protect the rights of banking consumers in Pakistan.
If any complaint regarding any issue then firstly you can file a written complaint to the relevant bank and if the relevant bank does not resolve your complaint within 45 days then you can file a written complaint to Banking Mohtasib (Banking Ombudsman) and attach with the relevant documents such as bank statements, transaction record, correspondence with the bank and any other evidence supporting your case.
The Banking Mobtasib (Banking Ombudsman) sends a notice to Bank / Respondent. The Banking Mohtasib after collecting the evidence issue a direction to the relevant bank to resolve the complaint or impose a fine on the bank.
