Everything you need, and nothing you don't. Just got my 4.25 and can't wait to apply this. I came with a crisp 6 pound trigger. My last trigger job on a 1911 turned out OK, but I missed quite a bit. Now I have this excellent guide. Thanks.

@@tncatrn I love it!!!!! M well over 2k rounds through with no issues. I just hate field stripping it because I’m used to taking down Glocks in seconds. But money well spent

Have a question on the SA OEM hammer in the Prodigies you've worked on. On the one I have the hammer had a third ledge about a 1/8" above the half cock notch/hook. When I reduced the over-travel of the trigger the sear would slightly catch that third ledge which would cause a slight slowing of the hammer. I ground that off and everything works fine. I think it was a manufacturing defect. Have you seen that at all? Have you tried the True Radius sear jig or even heard of it?

You put effort in addressing all the small parts. What's the lowest trigger pull you can achieve?
@mastergunworks

2 lbs. or less can be achieved. Bit that is lighter than I recommend.

@@mastergunworks Whats lighter than you recommend?
@mastergunworks

@@chriss7991 I recommend no less than 4 lbs for a carry gun. Most other cases 3.5 Lbs is fine. Target, bullseye or other competition only guns can be lower down to maybe 2.5 lbs. or so. It depends on the application.

@@chriss7991 That is pretty light. I guess that's fine as long as the gun id for comp only. I probably would not send one out the door that light. Simply due to liability reasons.
