MrKhaosGusta People like you know zero about music, if you listen to "All Of The Lights", there about 11 vocalists on it, Elton John is on there but isn't even mentioned in the title, that's how Kanye does it, if you want to know about the details of the song go read the Liner notes. If you listen to "To Pimp A Butterfly", how many other people do you see in the title? Do you know how many more people worked on it, check the liner notes.

Consequence did, but Rhymefest ghost writes on every Kanye project.... Check the credits... Kanye has been one to use an open room discussion technique publicly for the last 4 albums... But every song is always gonna have at least two names in the writers credits unless the rapper is also the producer and no elements of the song came from a preexisting creation... Otherwise the producer gets writer credit for writing the music which is the foundation for the rapper.... Do yall even rap?

Clyde Bronski I don't think he was talking about the weeknd, sure French has worked with him but Ebro asked him who he thought was trash...doesn't necessarily have to be someone he knows French has worked with, and if this dude knows music production well he'd know the weeknd alligned himself with great producers out of TO for Trilogy and after he popped off he's been on records with some of the best in the game. The sound/production is a huge part of the weeknd's sound

I hate that in hip hop and RnB, songs are having 6 producers and song writers. It's ridiculous. It just shows that these artists and producers are becoming lazy. The genres will start losing credibility and value. It would hard to argue the artistic value of a Kanye song that has a bunch of producers and writers deserver a Grammy compared to an artist who does all his production and song writing. And it's not like Kanye can't do it all.
@Thead2Raw

@yandibreaux1535

T-HEAD ONIT You need eleven people to produce one track? Nevermind the producing credit, just look at the songwriting credits. Nothing in this song lyrically or musically justifies that many co-writers! Kanye going the Dr. Dre route, except a much more lazier version. At least Dre programmed the drums while his single co-producer would lay down live instrumentation whether its keys or bass. Kanye takes beats from lesser known producers and then passes the demo around like a hot potato among his in-house posse (Mike Dean, Noah Goldstein,) and then to more established acts (Diddy, Travis Scott, and Mario Winans) where they'll tweak things here and there but not enough to warrant a songwriting credit or credit as producers. I want to see how the publishing for the song with be handled...lol
@Thead2Raw
9 жыл бұрын
Kevin Breaux Even though the beats are from lesser known producers he still gives them credit...I know he (velous) never met kanye directly but that also happened to Travis Scott n look where he is now lol Im sure Velous will be credited for his work...ok on the song writing part idk lol maybe diddy n em other dudes inpired him n he wanted to give em credit for inspiration
@yandibreaux1535

T-HEAD ONIT I guess you've got a point, but the publishing check for that song will be so low if they're splitting between all those people. lol
