I Know The End is one of my favorite songs of all time. The ending is her idea of how the apocalypse would sound in a song, and I think it works absolutely perfectly. The chaos with the screams, the horns, the drums, the guitar, it all just feels like the end of the world and I love it.

I attended Phoebe's concert here in Toronto back in June with my sister. Going into the show I only knew Kyoto and was pretty ignorant to her music as a whole, expected to spend most of the show sitting on the hill at the back of the outdoor venue. As soon as the concert started though, it was magnetic. I was totally sucked right in, and the performance and the visuals blew me away unlike any concert I had ever been to. I left feeling a bit different, which might sound a bit weird to say. Since then this album has been one of my favorites.

Welcome to the Phoebe Lovers Club!! Luckily I got to go to a concert a couple of weeks ago and for the firts time in my life I got emotional on a live performance (yes she made me cry) No need to clarify that I´m up there in age, so I have listened to a ton of music in my life and been to a bunch of concerts.

Punisher is one of my favorite albums of all time and I’m so happy you decided to react to it! I am absolutely in love with every aspect of this record but especially the story-driven, very specific, detailed style of lyrics that you mentioned. If you’re familiar with the 2010’s pop-punk scene you might have heard about a band called The Wonder Years who have a very similar lyrical style to Phoebe. If you haven’t listened to them before I would highly recommend their album No Closer To Heaven (and also Sister Cities and The Greatest Generation, but I’m getting ahead of myself). It is another one of my favorite albums and it also scratches that storytelling itch in a very satisfying way. If you enjoy a slightly rough yet high-quality, almost evolved 2010’s pop-punk sound I think you would really like it!

Oh ... so Billie Eilish shared a hilarious Phoebe Bridgers story on her "Me & Dad" radio show a couple of years ago. Billie said she was only about 10-11 yo at the time I think, so Finneas couldn't have been more than maybe 14-15? Anyway, Finneas' band The Slightlys was competing in a battle of the bands contest, and young Billie and her Dad were there to support him. But, suddenly, a very young and "tiny" Ms Bridgers jumped on stage with only a guitar, and blew everybody away with the quality of her performance. So much so that, from that moment, both Billie and her Dad were secretly rooting for Phoebe to beat Finneas ... which she did! Finneas was apparently very upset because the contest had been billed as a battle of the BANDS, yet this Bridgers kid didn't even have a band LOL. Billie and her Dad have been Phoebe stans ever since. You can see Patrick wearing his Phoebe Bridgers t-shirt throughout the Blurry doc. Cheers.

Although listening along with this video I've picked up so many small nuances that really shine through the production of this record.
