I would have no problem building a house or anything using Ryobi power tools. I have been using them for well over 20 years. It's just became fashionable for people to make fun of them that can afford to spend big bucks for other brands. They are definitely overcompensating for other short falls.

I have built a house with Ryobi tools. I've also been a handyman for several years and used Ryobi. They are dependable, and if they fail, are a lot less expensive to replace then the "professional" alternatives. Great video. 👍

I just thought of something. This Symik Power Source will give you the charge level of your Ryobi batteries that do not have the built in test button and lights. I have wanted a way to test my batteries for years. The Symik Power Source Charger will do that for me. Another reason to get one of these! Thanks again for bringing this to our attention.

You probably already know this but don't divide the Ah numbers. They can vary based on nominal voltage of the device. Use the Wh ratings instead. Those are reliable and absolute. To get the Wh or your Ryobi battery, just multiple 18 by whatever Ah the unit has. A 6Ah battery at 18v has 108Wh of capacity when full. The standard mini 3 pro battery is 18.1Wh so it can charge roughly 5 of those after factoring in some conversion loss. The long flight version is 28.4Wh so not quite 4 of those can be charged by the same full pack. This is a really cool product though. The fact it has 100w USBC Power Delivery as well as being bidirectional is awesome. That means you can ditch the normal charger as well if you use their tools. The removable and replaceable battery makes it even better than typical power packs.

Great endorsement, I just ordered one of these chargers through your affiliate link. As for Ryobi, they’re GREAT products, and while YES, they’re not as robust as the big boys, they’re nevertheless very useful and much better than a lot of cheaper brands. I’ve been using them for over 20 years when they were all blue, and have been buying the green ones and more recently the ones with brushless motors. I’m fully invested in their ecosystem at this point. Thank you!

Thanks Russ, Looks like a cool product. Battery management and charging is such a chore. The standard ryobi tool battery connector has never changed, they've added features, but today's batteries work with tools from 10 years ago and the opposite is true. Because of that you can expect that the charger to be compatable well into the future
