In this video, I walk through the 2nd version of my Flop Analysis Workbook in which aggregates the solver outputs of 184 flops for 52 different postflop formations (e.g. UTG vs BB, single raised pot).
I built this workbook to analyze equilibrium flop frequencies in online, 6-max no-limit hold'em games. The data has been generated using PioSolver to solve a 184-flop subset for 52 different postflop formations, both single raised pots and 3-bet pots. All solutions were configured to model a 100 BB, 6-max cash hold'em game, similar to those played online.
The ranges for both players are based on a preflop solution generated using MonkerSolver. This gives us the ability to approximate equilibrium frequencies with our postflop analysis.
I believe that this workbook can be very useful as a study tool to help build your own strategies:
- Increase your understanding of equilibrium flop strategies with solver output data from 184 flops across 52 formations
- Improve your understanding of how ranges interact across different board types
- Develop better instincts through identifying concepts through pattern recognition
- Sort, filter, and aggregate the data in a variety of different ways to study more efficiently
- Utilize the data as a foundational component of your own independent studies
I must emphasize that I don’t believe this product is right for everyone. There are no answers that are spelled out within the workbook. But there is a lot of data organized very effectively for you to find them yourselves. So if you spend time studying using data or spreadsheets in your poker work, I think that this can be very helpful.
