We're pouring a floor a week at the Villas on 24th project, thanks to our first-ever use of a core climber!
This innovative system self-climbs with the structure, providing a safe and stable platform for seamless concrete placement. By integrating formwork and hydraulic jacks, we're able to work simultaneously on the slab and core walls, ensuring precise alignment, enhanced speed, and top-notch construction quality-all while keeping our team safe at every height.
Superintendent Cale Skogman highlights the incredible teamwork as the crew navigates tight space challenges and maintains their schedule for more than 25 weeks. We're also leveraging prefabricated panels for this 30-story, 340,000 SF high-rise, set to become a standout in West Campus at The University of Texas at Austin.
Stay tuned for more updates as we bring this student housing to life!
