Interesting information. It is good to see examples of a nimble business model that isn't afraid to get out of unprofitable development cycles.

hey man would you open source the consumer 3dprinter design and parts so we could assemble one if we want? maybe even crowd improvements can be made, maybe you can even make some contest to follow certain requiriments and rank the submitions. you can maybe even call it something catchy like crowd iteration v1.2 and use some of those improvements on your own machines. oh god i have so many ideas haha hire me

I'd love to learn a bit more about the engineering and design that went into the printers you've made for your farm. Even if you can't share all the details, it'd be interesting to learn more about the most important elements and how they've benefitted your business compared to off-the-shelf machines.

I’d love to hear about the development of your printers and the lessons you’ve learnt. I’d also love to know about the decision to include the x stepper on the moving y axis. It goes against my intuition about reducing the moving mass.

Definitely. Your CoreXY printers seem to be better than 99% of what is out there.

Appreciate what you do but covid is far from over. Over 20,000 people died in the US since the first of the year directly from acute covid and millions are currently suffering from long covid.

I like the mason's corner pieces for the extruded aluminum beams, is the STL posted anywhere?

I'm very interested in the printer you guys made. And what the improvements were over the versions. Could you make a video about it? (or is there a video already?)

Would really like to build one of your machines, is there anyway of getting the design files or stl ?

Yea you guys should have collaborated with a 3rd party to produce the 3d printers. That was a good idea and I think you should revisit it in the future, when your internal machines stablize.
@slant3d

That is not viable. We keep production of our hardware inhouse in order to accelerate iteration.

Very interesting. thanks for sharing. I do exactly what you are talking about. When i design a product for sale if I cant find a way to stream line the production, it doesn't matter how great the product is, I don't sell it.
