I found a conductors watch in a ghost town in Arizona. I suspect it was dropped into an outhouse hole. It was complete, with glass, and included both front and back. The back had an etched scene of a building, glass was beveled and the face was covered with a paper with the numbers. Inside all of the gears were rusted as was the spring, however, the remainder of the internals were gold plated. The same hole had an old...1820s pad lock that had been beaten with a bullpen hammer. That pit gave up coins, jewelery, faceted gem stones, the best bottles I ever found...I just randomly found this spot as I've never had a metal detector. Love your vlogs. I tell people that if you enjoyed Easter egg hunting, you'll love this hobby.

Hey Brad what an array of Relics and Coins you found Congrats. I remember the last Heart Heel Plate you found I love it. The Bycicle Spot Light Relic is very cool. Never knew they made a lamp for a bike before. Congrats on the Copper, Wheaties, and Good Luck Token. It's always nice to finda Stray Marble when your out detecting. Very Beautiful. One day soon I hope you find a complete Pocket Watch. I've found one with the glass still on it and two with the face plate with numbers on them. The sad part is I've not ever found one complete with the face cover still attached. I did find a WW1 Compass complete with the face piece still attached. Take Care Brad

8:30 I remember my grand mother telling me that in the UK around the 1920's ladies of rhe night would have something like this on their heals, the hollowed area would be painted bright red, or they'd put a price on the sole of the shoe in chalk. When sitting down, they would undo the ankle strap of the shoe so it would hang on the toes and drop down, making it visible. Eye contact would be made and they would leave the establishment separately and meet up outside. Not all our great grandma's were into apple pie and duvet sewing ya know 😂

I have a HUGE COLLECTION of Vintage and Antique Jewelry. I see you holding a very ornate holder. Believe it or not, it could be the holder for a very expensive, dressy Handbag. Unfortunately, Sterling Silver cannot be melted and fixed. You have to find something else to be able to use it. LOL I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the story of the Heart Heel for shoes . Some lady of the night had a Sales and Marketing Degree from Harvard. VERY, VERY, CLEVER.

There was a Fishmans store in Vergennes in the 50's as well, Sam and Sara Fishman were the owners and friends with my family . Sam just may be the son of the owners of the Fishmans in Burlington as I seem to remember there parents had a store too at one time, but don't recall just where it was. That just may be a contribution to the history of that token and something you might be able to find further info about if they were related ? Fingers crossed,,, I'm big time into searching out native artifacts myself with a decent collection of my own, some from my ancestors home site behind Mount Independence. They settled there in 1641 and bet that would be a cool place to search with a metal detector as the fort was just above there homestead later on , so it's likely to have thousands of years of history consolidated there? Not sure who owns that property now though sense I've moved from that area just recently.

That was definitely a bogroll holder...would've had a wooden spindle between the gap which likely rotted away. The metal fram would've acted as a spring so it could have been pulled out of the hole in the end of the spindle such that the bogroll could be replaced. When it was placed back in, the inwards facing finger part of the frame would be held in place like a pincer holds onto a log.
