It's an mazing tutorial! That gave me so much passion to try this in the practice session, while I came here really frustrated about having no idea of how to move my progress forward. You're great teacher and violinist! Thanks so much for this amazing content!!!

A brilliant help, Joy, as I'll start Tchaikovsky's "Lieu Cher" in a few weeks and it's the first really fast piece that I'll have learned. Your instruction is invaluable. Thank you. I'm feeling alot more positive now! 🤗 G Ire (adult student)

Hi Joy! I am self taught and i play by ear. Your videos are always very helpful to me. I am trying to learn a piece called Beyong the Veil by Lindsey Stirling. I can play most of it, because i figured it out by ear. I cannot sight read and was wondering if you could show a tutorial for this song showing each difficult part and explaining how to make it easier, like the fast staccato bowing and scales. I would greatly appreciate it and am so happy to see your videos. they are very clear in explanation and i really appreciate your effort you put into helping us!!

Mr. Fazbear. I doubt Joy meant it as a rude gesture. Did you have to point that out?

Hi i would like to know the shifting of this piece or how i understand to change position
@JoyLeeViolin
Жыл бұрын
Hi Leidy, when and how to shift is up to the each violinist as one should choose to make beautiful music. If you need fingerings with shifting suggestions, there are sheet music with such suggestions one can purchase. I hope you can try. Happy violin playing!

it is a matter of taste, because there are many good strings, but you can try Thomastik Superflexible
