I was recently telling my husband about what you’ve been doing and how it’s a great alternative for people who can’t afford to buy a home or rent a large apartment in their own. Not everyone wants to have the stress of renting with others or can’t for one reason or another. I found this option very smart and helpful. I n is my cousin recently was looking for an affordable place to rent on her own and everything is so expensive now. This a better alternative.

That was really informative. The different types can be confusing. I wish that in America they had someplace that checked on landlords like the conceal does there. Almost every landlord here thinks they should not have to do any repairs or even fix the place up to begin with. They will buy a rundown house and then think someone should be grateful that he is letting them rent it. One time I went to a house that had wooden floors that were so messed up every 2 or 3 boards it would go up like a bunch of triangles. So you would have to step across the tops of the triangles. And in some places it was like a Fun House floor. I didn't get past the front door and I told him it needed to be torn down. He said there was nothing wrong with the place. It did get condemned.

The lease option seems the same as leasing a car... or very similar. Goodness! Property as investment is very complicated. Thank you for breaking it down and making it understandable! Has it really been 2.5 years?? WOW!! Time Flies! Thanks guys💕💕💕💕💕

Hi Guys, You didn't mention Serviced Accommodation, which is a very popular strategy. What training company did you train with? I started my property journey in August 20, then bought my BTLs in Dec 20 an Feb 23. I then invested in 2 x luxury SA apartments in Liverpool. I aim to remortgage the BTLs at their new value, pull money out and purchase another property for SA.

Very informative. I don’t believe we have that many options here in the US, but I may be wrong. So glad to see you building a successful portfolio! Keep on going!!!!!

Two questions.... Have you been able to rent out each room on all the homes you worked on ? Also, how popular is it in the UK to create a space for a renter who may be handicapped ? (Like a wheelchair user who would need wide doorways, accessible bathrooms, ramps etc)

Can you please define "AST"? Is social housing the same as council housing? Are there mixed use properties in these types of investments? Such as commercial on ground floor with residential lets on the upper floors? Or do zoning regulations prevent that?
