Harpazo is a VERB still used in Greece today. As will every use of this VERB Scripture shows this VERB to show the action of "to take forcefully". In Greece today this term is mostly used to show people being robbed by gun or knifepoint. Paul was harpazo by the Romans and hauled off to prison... Acts 23:10. This word does NOT have good connotations. The fact remains that this VERB is not a name for this event... nor are VERBS nouns that name events.... such as the NOUN "rapture". Paul had already directly called this event "the resurrection of the dead"...1 Cor 15:42... which is the exact what he didn't want us ignorant about in 1 Thess 4:13-18. So why is it so important for the rapturist to change the name from what Scripture directly calls the event? The resurrection of the dead... is just that.the dead having their terrestrial realm bodies returned to them resurrected from the dead. When they died, they became absent from these bodies and present with the Lord.. 2 Cor 5:8. The dead return with Christ... 1 Thess 4;14 from the celestial realm to the terrestrial realm... 1 Cor 15:40 to be resurrected from the dead...vs 42, and get their physical...vs 44, flesh and blood bodies.... vs 50 restored to them for the purpose of ruling and reigning with Christ in the terrestrial realm for 1000 years so that they are not ghosts or disembodied spirits. Paul directly states that these bodies do not go to heaven... vs 50. Yet the rapturists start their narrative with the next verse and lie to us and tell us that Paul reveals a brand new event of a rapture...and goes to heaven at this time... when Paul directly called the event "the resurrection of the dead", nine verses prior, and tells us that they do not go to heaven in verse 50. The resurrection of the dead occurs when the heavens are destroyed ... Job 14:12, 2 Peter 3:10, Matt 24:35-43, Mark 13:31,32. Those martyred for not taking the mark are resurrected at the FIRST resurrection... Rev 20:4-6. A person must go to school to learn the difference between a verb and a noun. Peter tells us that "unlearned" individuals twist Paul's teaching on this matter as they do all of Scripture, and then he calls them "wicked" and tells us not to fall from our own steadfastness...2 Peter 3:15-17. Every argument for a rapture is birthed out of deception.

Why are you watching a video that you don't agree with the speaker. I wouldn't. Life is too short for wasting my time. I wish I hadn't read your comment. It's 2 minutes I'll never get back😒

@@ilovemydogs3975 That's really sad you feel that way. Not to mention, the foolish virgins need to be told that in the end Jesus tells them "I know you not" and shuts the door to them.... Matt 25. Please do what Christ commands concerning this subject, and "take heed that no man deceive you..."... Matt 24:3,4. Every argument for a rapture is birthed out of deception.

Change "rapture" to caught up. How do you explain that?

@@ilovemydogs3975 Caught up is a verb.... rapture is a noun. Those who twist Paul's teaching on this matter do so with all of Scripture ... 2 Peter 3:15-17... then Peter calls them "wicked" and tells us not to fall from our own steadfastness. In other words Peter is saying that those who interchanged "rapture" with "caught up" are "wicked".
