When you assemble any mixing system any air leak will screw up all your ratios, siphon, and also your distance you can spray. Use thread tape along with pipe dope and be sure to apply it a thread or two back from the end so nothing can flake off and stick to your metering valves or in your pump etc. also I’m sure you know but your h20 line and Sh line should be as symmetrical as possible from start to finish and soap line is totally independent so your Already got that down it appears. Pretreating or post treating is as much about what you see as what you can’t see. I like to pretreat personally because it makes the cleaning go faster and then the surface has no chems on when you leave. If you don’t use any chemical then even though it looks good now it will start to develop organic growth again faster because you didn’t actually kill whats growing on the surface. Its like pulling weeds, good contractors get the roots up leaving a lasting affect and bad ones don’t. Eventually your customers and long lasting results will pay huge dividends in years to come. Hope this helps and wash on!

Hard plumb the bleach line into the bleach tank. Even if you tap it first you will drop bleach onto trailer. That poly braid hose will become more and more of a nuisance every day. For your plug issue, just install whatever sized bulkhead that you need. For flushing your 12v just shut all but water line and put that "bucket filler" tube into top of the tank. 100% agree about it being able to sufficiently flush out and have next to no impact on water in buffer

Hey john, I recently started my own pressure washing business. Ive been doing it on the side for about 9 years. I’ve been learning a lot off of your posts, but I have some questions if you have time. I’ve even put the same set up (down to the wood platform) in my truck.

Get a flexzilla 100' hose runs from the house to a hudson valve, the Hudson valve is attached with a bulkhead fitting. You'll want a filter between the hose and the hudson valve.

If your incoming water is always on 100%, is there really a benefit to having a control valve on that line, or would a simple ball valve do?

James Check out this setup from Northern Tools. You can add 2.5 gallons of 12.5% SH and a few ounces of soap and fill it with water and you have 26 gallons of house washing mix ready to go. That will do most houses. 5.5 GPM is a fast way to get lots of mix on the house. Mount it to a garden cart and wheel it where you need it to be. Add extra hose so you can do 2 sides of the house at once without having to move it. You can add a bit of plumbing to make it easier to flush the pump with clean water or just disconnect the hose and put it in a 5 gallon bucket of clean water to rinse. Just make sure you put a filter on it. It's a super cheap and easy way to get started and get used to running a 12v system. www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200695295_200695295

cody He said it's 5.5 gpm fatboy in another comment. Check out the NorthStar 5.5 gpm ATV tree sprayer on Northern Tool's website. Has a 26 gallon tank. Just add 2.5 gallons of 12.5% and a few ounces of soap and fill it with water and you have 26 gallons of mix ready to go. That will do most houses. You can mount it to a garden wagon to make it portable. Super cheap way to get started with a 12v system. You can add plumbing to make it easier to rinse the pump or just disconnect it and run a hose from a 5 gallon bucket to it.

Great Video John. Is it safe to say that after the proportioner there is a pump that then runs into your 200 feet reel (something like a DELAVAN FB2 26.5LPM 100PSI PUMP)? If so, how do you prime the lines? Do you turnoff each nozzle and prime through the pump one at a time until all 3 are primed (i presume you try keep it that primed always). Last question, what nozzle do you use for spraying? Thank you all again
