I installed mine today. I'm going to go over it tomorrow and then take it out and try it out.

How do you grease the ball after the hitch has been totally installed and used for one year?

Another great video. I had to get towed so I had to disassemble my hitch in order for them to use a ball hitch. I have mine loosely assembled back on the trailer and wanted to know all these key points before I tightened everything up. Huge help. And, you did a great job explaining all this. I truly appreciate it. I did realize my hitch only has two bolts on the truck riser/drop. I'll be making a trip to get another bolt. We bought a used trailer and this hitch was installed. I do have the "U" bolts that connect the spring bars to the weight distribution jacks. The new set up you have looks like a great upgrade. I am still getting used to hitching up; sometimes level ground and sometimes not. When it is right, it slides right in.

Any ballpark ideas as to what one would see as a realistic tongue weight? I realize the 3p is around 190# but one would think that not all of that weight goes solely to tongue weight, and that a good portion of that would be distributed to the trailer/ trailer axles for weight. Referencing a 36’ TT if that matters at all.

Can you design it as simple as possible? Most of newbie don’t like too complicated things.
