When you have kids there is a whole new set of pros that come into the picture, like school fees. It's super expensive here but our daughter has also progressed significantly in the 6 months we've been here. She can now read and write and she's only 5.

@1:10 I disagree. We should all make a pact and simply refuse to pay - if we need a bunch of stuff in our cars at all times, then I will make sure to have it. Laughing it off and paying is making the problem continue. This goes for everywhere, airports, govt offices, etc...I have yet to pay This is how we turn this Con into a non issue over time.

So you think when it comes to that, the west is better? I don't think it's a big deal. It's not a perfect system, but it's better than paying a ticket and having your car insurance go up
@mikelantern148

@@erock9594you’re still not getting the point. Sure I’d rather pay off a police officer in Ghana to go about my daddy than get shot or end up with a ticket in USA, however we should make it a habit to get rid of the habit altogether without trying to soften corruption which goes a long way in hurting a lot more people in Ghana.
@erock9594
Жыл бұрын
@Mike lantern first you're not going to get shot by a police officer in America for a traffic ticket. Yea, corruption needs to stop, but the system in America is also corrupt when it comes to traffic stops. I was just trying to give you a different point of view

Internet is expensive considering you don’t have unlimited monthly plans like we do in USA. There’s a cap to your Internet data in Ghana and that goes for your home Internet and phone Internet data. So you’ll notice many locals use their data during certain times of the day more, or simply turn off their data to avoid losing data in the background when they’re going to sleep.
