I won't say I regret my time at Penn State, but I don't think it was worth it as a film major. Being in such a small community meant that the majority of experience I could get was from the college, or with some local theatre groups. After I moved to Philly I was blown away by how many opportunities there were, from big movie productions to local people shooting music videos or covering live events. And that wasn't even in a huge media hub like NYC or LA. There's just so much more going on in a city and so many more independent communities, it's very beneficial for trying to start a career in the arts.

Exactly!!! Oh My goodness being the Happy Valley bubble was nice socially for me, but professionally I had no idea what I was missing out on. When I wanted to apply to jobs "in my field", I really felt so behind because I didn't have any real experiences in companies.... When I moved to Philly... FORGET ABOUT IT! It was a while new world!!! lol I totally relate! Arts in small towns are very hard to develop/grow because the network just isn't quite there!! Thank you so much for commenting ... I really really appreciate how you support me!!

I chose city campus (NYC) because it was easy to find part-time job after school. Moreover, commute was also affordable because of monthly unlimited metro card.

I’m trying to choose between the University of San Francisco and Arizona State University. Both are Master’s in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Which would be better to find a job afterwards? I prefer the program from Arizona but I would like to find a job in SF. What do you suggest?

So there isn't a "right" or "wrong" choice. It really is about you and your personally goals. These types of decisions are highly personal and about your priorities! While if the goal is to work in SF you should look into how many people from your prefered program go into the field or location that interests you. But thats not always the most important thing either. So ... I don't know which one is best and I don't have a suggestion... I do have two videos to help you decide which program is best for you... maybe they can help you? Most important considerations when choosing a grad program kzitem.info/news/bejne/k2pm0ah_pKCEm3o How to decide on the RIGHT program for you! kzitem.info/news/bejne/t2142HZrcJxon3o Good luck! Either way, I do think where ever you end up is exactly where you are meant to be!
