I’ve been looking at nexus for awhile too. Would like to get back to analogue type. Much better tuning than the stepped digital platforms. How is the performance between the 2 models? You have a preference? Or maybe you’ll do a side by side in the future? Nice vid.

Hey CZKidd , this is not a copout, but I can’t say I have a preference yet. I am enjoying both machines and I understand you may want a side-by-side. Just have to think about what to do or how to do a video on the subject. I mean I hunt with both machines on my channel so the platform on each machine is slightly different. V3 is a “noisier“ hunt and uses VCO tones. VCO tone is not adjustable. V3 has an adaptive reactivity speed and incredible target separation, and unmasking an iron is incredible. The VCO tone just slaps you in the face when there is a nonferrous target, its tone is so snappy. The V2 itself is no slouch with unmasking in iron. It has an iron reject mode has a toggle switch behind the control box that silences the iron makes for an extremely quiet hunt. Only nonferrous Tones ring through. Both machines have a real threshold. Although I have not tried the V2 can hunt on wet salt sand. V3 is not recommended for that. Please keep in mind I’m learning these machines while I’m documenting it on video. I am not in anyway claiming to be some expert or guru. I’m sure you have checked out Paul Warren‘s video channel. Incredible unmasking tests that I don’t have the want or need to re-create them. So many videos on his channel have already documented that. So the long short of it is I’m enjoying both machines right now. And I’m not sure I could recommend one or the other. (not that you asked for a recommendation). I will say I wish you could combine the two machines into one lol. thanks for checking out my videos. There will be more coming with both the V2 and V3 with different coils.

Hi, I bought those covers recently, but can't fit the boxes in. I've tried very hard, but it seems to be impossible, like they're too small. Any hints how to put them on? 🤔

Hi, they are a challenge to put on. I have the neoprene ones which stretch a bit. Hopefully you have the neoprene ones. All I could say is for the battery box which comes on and off often obviously because you have to put the battery pack in and out open velcro seams all the way start from the back (back to front) and try to slide it under.. up and over. For the control box, you have to make sure that the Velcro seams is open… slowly and carefully not to damage any of the controls on the control box slide it over the top, and you have to slowly manipulate it being careful of the outer control knobs. do this without the coil cable attached. Hope this helps it’s hard to explain. Take your time. Mine are snug fitting, but if yours are obviously way too small then contact the company and tell them to send you another pair. I will say my camouflage ones are more snug than the solid black ones. But both work well they’re meant to be snug. Be well

Welcome back. Thanks to your advices I've manager to slide the covers in 😊 Control box is perfectly fitted, battery box cover is a bit too small, can't meet both sides of velcro, but it's fine, still does its job. Thanks again and wish you all the best 😊
