How protein translocate Ans : after the protein synthesis the srp is attached then the srp receptor uses gtp as the form of energy which is further hydrolysed to gdp during the binding then the translocon channel opens with the energy source gdp and then the protein translocate to er lumen and the srp releases and repeat the same process Pls reply if it is correct

The explanation was wonderful. But I didn't get the last part of it.. I read somewhere...''the ATP driven cycle of BiP binding and realease pulls the protein into the lumen''. The role of BiP was not there in the video with proper explanation.
