Alex Zahnd gives a short walk through INSIDE the TURBINE house of the prototype "Modular Pico-Hydro Power Plant" in the Nepal Himalayan village of Mohari (North Latitude: 29° 20’ 06" / East 82° 22’ 28”, Altitude 3'141 meters (10'305 ft) above sea level), in the north-eastern part of the Jumla district. This, FIRST of its kind of "Modular Pico-Hydro Power Plant", which can "grow" in its power output over the years, IF the users have the need for more power and can afford it, was developed and built between 2016-2018 and is running, NON-STOP, 24/7, since the 30th November 2028. On the 13th August 2024, it has been running 50'000 hours non-stop without power interruption.
