Dr. Karlee Ertter is an Audiologist at our offices in Pikesville and Pasadena, Maryland. Originally from a small town in Pennsylvania called Ebensburg, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Sciences, and Disorders from Pennsylvania State University in 2013. She graduated from Towson University with her Doctorate in Audiology, where she completed her thesis project, “Evaluating Quality of Life in Cochlear Implant Candidates/Recipients Using the ModNCIQ,” with 4 hearing healthcare professionals to modify a questionnaire that can be used in clinical practice. Her clinical rotations included ENTAA Care, Lincoln Intermediate Unit in York, PA, Baltimore Veteran’s Administration, and here at Live Better Hearing, where she completed her 4th-year externship.
Dr. Ertter’s primary audiological interests are hearing aids and providing hearing healthcare needs to patients of all ages. Her cheerful, warm personality and desire to help others enable her to provide quality care at each appointment. She finds great joy in seeing the smiles on her patients’ faces during their hearing aid fitting appointments, and is delighted in knowing that she is bettering people’s lives by providing hearing healthcare.
In her spare time, Karlee likes to read and stay active through running and boot camp classes. She enjoys cheering on all Penn State sports teams and spending time with her family and close friends.
