Watching this video, I thought about how satisfied I am with my violin amber sunburst PRS CE24 hanging before me on my wall. I've played it three times today alone and it probably won't be the last. It's a guitar you just don't want to put down. It feels great, it looks great, it plays great and it performs great. What more could you ask from a guitar maker? PRS has achieved greatness. They've earned it. With all that I still had no idea just how much scrutiny these guitars were under making their way out the factory doors.

I initially thought PRS were expensive weird guitars. I was kind of forced to buy one because I needed a 24 fret US-made guitar, then I set it up for the first time according to the specifications from the owner’s manual… I have guitars from the usual and traditional big US brands (Gibson, Fender, etc), and none of them conform with their supplied user manuals right off the box, but only PRS got it spot on first time! It remained that way for years without any formal trip to the local guitar service centres for routine setup. This just blew my mind! From then on I will only choose PRS for my future purchases. The QA on these guitars are just insanely good and just what I expect when talking about that passionate American quality and attention to detail. 👌

I loved my CE24 for the exact reasons that this video shows how great the factory is. Mine was recently stolen but I went to a store today to look for a replacement and the best guitars in the whole store were all PRS by far! Even the used instruments were all above and beyond in quality and tone of anything else I’ve played. It feels silly to say but honestly it makes playing other guitars half the fun!

I have 3 of them, I’ve been to 2016 Experience and have met Paul twice. And I know I’ll attend another Experience and will buy more guitars. I love the perfection, the attention to detail, and the instrument per se, comfortability and unique sound. There’s no other brand for me.

Jack is such a huge part of PRS Guitars and their success.. He knows his stuff being with Paul since 1985 . They have both learned from each other, from trial and error , and from other guiitarist's wants and needs from their guitars. The past few years, even the SE Guitar Department, that is run by Jack, has set the bar high on these overseas made guitars, to the point that they're giving other manufacturers "Custom Shop" guitars , a run for their money. Paul Reed Smith,l,Jack Higginbotham,Paul Miles,Len Johnson, and the rest of the employees at PRS Guitars just care and it shows on every guitar from SE-Private Stock. I've done the factory tour 6 times, and it's breath taking.

I always ask myself who the dillweeds that "thumbs-down" videos like this are. What, exactly, annoyed y'all? Although I don't own a PRS, I thought this a terrific way to spend 26 minutes of my life. Seemed far more like "craft" than "factory" to me.

Dont have words for those incredible people who have the job of making guitars for millions of people like me ¡ i had a Standard 22 wide thin neck bought brand new in 1997 from Mandolin Brothers in 1997 an INCREDIBLE awesome vintage cherry. Then in 2002 i bought a Custom 22 Wide fat neck 3 color sunburst. Both guitars had circle inlays. I miss em both¡😪 awesome guitars¡❤

One(1) month for the neck, ONE MONTH...and this is why PRS is best on the planet. A neck that's stable for the lifetime of the instrument.

Spyder Logan Adamovic Basses has a similar quality control. They wait for 6 months between rough cutting and assembly, and another 6 months between assembly and finishing

A question that I've always wondered, who hand writes the gold serial numbers on the headstock? Perhaps a 1 to 2 minute video could show how that process is done.

They are most certainly hand written on core models. On Private Stock models Paul Miles puts the finishing hand written touches on the back of the headstock.

very interesting factory tour. Seemed kind of generic to me though anyway I've been trying to perfectly estimate how many times perfect was used in this video especially the first halfand I'm afraid being human I can't do that but I guess they can do that at PRS can't they LOL not really the biggest PRS fan in this video didn't do much to change my mind. Live-and-let-live that's what I say please excuse any typos misspelled words lack of punctuation etc I cannot do typing perfectly so I use speech-to-text because I suffer from mr. Magoo syndrome translated really legally blind anyway I wish everybody a Merry Christmas and happy Hanukkah and a healthy and happy and peaceful New year sincerely yours, Bob the blind bedroom guitarist
