It's great seeing you bring these devices back to life. I only discovered recently you were now doing this professionally and had this new channel. Well done mate.

Videos are quite therapeutic to watch ;-) You mentioned on some videos you have Amazon links to the equipment you use, but I couldn’t see those, could you point us in the direction of these please? Eg the little amp meter you plug into the ports on your switch videos to check those. The use of big blobs of flux which seems to help focus the solder. Perhaps an idea for a video explaining the basics of what your using and doing would be excellent :-) good job!

I’m still amazed by the trick of using braid for this. The first time I saw it was a Cod3r video, and it was jolly cool then. Something I’d just never think of doing.

I think that PS% connector is even worth, pads are much smaller and much easy to rip them off (here only was off, PS% usually all of them)

Nice job. What is your opinion of the work of fellow game system repairmen tronicsfix and the cod3r?

I was worried about the continuity between the smaller component next to the large capacitor not being connected .

Nice repair! Question, is it ok for the trace you put in to be so thin? The pins on the connector have a bigger guage?

I had one of these come in, snapped off connector, fixed it cleaned it full told em "its completely clean you dont need to take apart again, 2 weeks later its back port ripped back off fml. I asked why and they said they werent getting enough FPS in fortnite SMH. But silver lining (for me) was they decide its too much hassle and give me the ps4 pro in place of the second repair fee. I remade the traces with enamel wire and sold it on at a nice profit.

Are you kidding that they removed the ground legs in this ps4 pro revision?...What a scam are companies to get a quick pound reducing the quality by a lot. I love tech but this stuff gets on my nerves back in the early 2000s things were built to last, now they are not, they reduced the built quality in everything.
