Ok, ol American, just discovering this band, and as an 80's kid they remind me of many bands, Echo and the Bunnymen, Duran Duran.... etc..

Had the major hots for Pierre back in the day. Loved Brian's singing voice - always consistent. Saw PE in 87 in Dunedin NZ and they were fucking fantastic live. This tune is right up there with the greats.

Can't help but love music from your childhood. But this is a derivative post-disco popper dude! It's probably the drums that irk the most, saved only by some nice kick work.

The way this song starts, makes me want to see an adventure film clip like Ultravox did with Loves Great Adventure - a mini adventure movie.

The Long Play version of this song with the sounds from Raiders Of The Lost Ark is better. Still love Pseudo Echo though and all of their music. Takes me right back to my childhood.

If they would have kept touring Europe and America they would hve been as huge and popular as Duran Duran. They're super 👌 talented. But, maybe Pseudo Echo was satisfied with that amount of fame and success. Duran Duran's fame and fortune came with heavy pressure and unwanted attention. They were so young and being an overnight success is even tougher. Rodger said they had to move to Australia to escape the Paparazzi and screaming girls. They had no privacy.

I truly think this is your signature song, you could have gone down the New Order / Ultravox path and you would have succeeded there too, anyway.. you made it and thank you

One of the few, very few - TOO few - Australian bands to pronounce words like 'pass' without a stupid affected American accent. Kudos to them.

Not really, as Pierre Gigliotti is playing synth bass-but loved when he played a proper bass guitar on many of the 3 hit albums they did! Did you ever see them live??
