Just wanted to say I have watched your channel for a while and it has given me so much hope, I'm a C5 and T7 incomplete and when I found your videos after I was hurt, it gave me the desire to keep trying to improve in my life. I'm just commenting here even though there are newer videos because the new videos don't seem to allow comments. While I'm not walking yet like you, I have travel a lot and gotten into several sports like wheelchair tennis and quad rugby, down hill mountain wheelchair racing, frisbee golf. Maybe someday we can communicate more and collaborate.

Excellent work friend. So amazing to see that he is still making strides. 😊 I do have a question though. There are videos previous to this earlier on where it seems he was walking faster, or maybe more confidently. So did something in his recovery process change? Perhaps he was just wanting to keep things slower this time to make sure he was balanced and no falls. Just wondering.

iampntcostl you’re right. A few things have changed. He wasn’t able to go to PT for a while because we were fighting with the insurance company (we won!!!). His PT place was also shut down for a long time too because of Covid. Also, we had someone coming in twice a day to stretch him. That’s stopped too because of Covid. I’m going to have to do the stretching in the nurse’s absence. I’ve noticed the decline as well.

scottchaller ah that makes sense. Yes this pandemic has certainly impacted us all in so many ways. Yay you won against the insurance company. I’m sure that feels great but sorry that had to happen in that way. I don’t like insurance companies’ policies and ways but that’s a different topic for a different day. Well I am sure once he’s able to get back to his PT and help in stretching he will regain whatever may have been lost temporarily. Either way it’s amazing to see him any time you post. A miracle actually. Thanks for sharing with us and responding as well. 😊👍🏽
