Of the 38,088 students who sat for this year's Primary School Leaving Examination, 98.4% made the cut for secondary school. It's comparable to cohorts from the last few years. They will be the first to undergo full subject-based banding next year, when it rolls out across all secondary schools. Under this more diversified approach to learning, students will be allocated into three groups based on their scores. Classes will have a mix of students with different strengths and interests.
