In fact, the soviets criticized America for wasting money to land on moon when they could’ve helped the working classes. What do you think? When Neil Armstrong was on the moon he had the hershey squirts big time and a lot dribbled out of his diaper on to the suit and into the shoes. The reason the Smithsonian Institute is asking for $700,000 to restore Neil's space suit is because they need to hire a bio hazard team to clean Neil's diarrhea off the suit. Best explanation of what is going on. The expression of Neil Armstrong at the beginning of the conference, his first sentences and how his jaw ground, his lips pressed together 0:29, after he spoke with a weak tone and feeble motions of his mouth. They, especially N. Armstrong, seemed to be scared to death, that he could say the wrong word. Because he is a honest and brave man, he gave with this weird speech a second message underlying, no one can misunderstand. Decode his behaviour, his gestures, his tone and his words, and the information is crystal clear.

Why criticize this man in the way he spoke? I talked one on one with Neil Armstrong (totally alone), for about 10 minutes, a few weeks following his lunar mission. We were at the University of Southern California where he was giving a lecture of "How to land on the Moon." He had almost earned a graduate aeronautical engineering degree, but never wrote his thesis. His presentation of a few hours was considered his graduate "thesis," and he was presented his Masters Degree. As we conversed, alone, he was a polite, shy, soft spoken gentleman with a moderate pressure hand shake. At his lecture and at any time in the following years, he was the same, quiet-mannered gentleman. I saw him personally in Washington, D.C., at the 10th anniversary of Apollo 11. He was not a flamboyant, talkative person. He seemed the type of person who could keep his cool under great stress--perfect for dangerous test flying, which he had been doing for many years in the military and as a civilian pilot.

Then people would say, wow, only in a land as great as America, by the people for the people, would the truth on such a matter ever be openly revealed.

Even the most humble man on the planet would be ecstatic and emotional about walking on the moon. Especially if he was the first. Armstrong's humility comes from his honor as a human being. He was forced into a position that he did not want to be in. He was forced to lie to America and the world. Being an honorable man, he could not do it in good conscience and with a straight face. These facts are the true source of his humility about the alleged moon mission and dislike of interviews about it. He spoke very cryptically and hesitantly about any lunar exploits because this was the only way he could display his honorable qualities while being forced by the establishment not to be honorable.

See, these poor guys were red, white and blue all the way through and they decided to take on these roles as American hero astronauts probably thinking that the big picture they were just a small part of would be more beneficial to the USA and the space program than how detrimental it all actually was. The technical achievement the US so arrogantly claimed in 1969 was quite short sighted. The reality of the Apollo program becomes clearer and clearer as the years go by and the US space program de-evolves further and further with time. We can't even get our astronauts to the fucking space station any more because NASA doesn't have any crafts that are viable to be used to put humans in LEO! If NASA went to the moon in 1969, they'd have space crafts which could make LEO on a daily basis today! Just look at how far the space program digressed since Apollo and ask yourself, if they really went there with Apollo how the hell could NASA have gone from that to not even being able to place people up to the ISS today?

One very important reason is that the Congress drastically has cut the funding NASA gets for manned spaceflights. There's no Cold War and no Spacerace going on today. NASA had hoped that the Space shuttle would have had a much shorter "turn-around time" than it actually got. It also got WAAY more expensive than planned. Today NASA pays SpaceX and Boeing to develop new spaceships for the trips to LEO. And, they develop the ORION for longer journeys, themselves.

Mr. Lowery There's a reason for spending billions on weapons. USA has managed to get itself a lot of enemies around the world. There's no reason to spend billions on sending people to even higher orbits (automatic probes are much cheaper and safer and do just as good work as humans in the empty space up there), and the Obama administration doesn't consider there's a reason, worth the cost, to go back to Moon, for the time being. Spending hundreds of billions of tax-money to do something, of no other reason than "it's possible", would be plain stupid.
