@@Zedoutdoorsdear Zed- your videos have been such a great encouragement and source of help in my new journey into carving. I have watched so many of your videos- often over and over! Your great way of showing the whole process is wonderful. Your questions are spot on. Your guests are so knowledgeable. All of you are so so generous. I am so so grateful 🙏🙏 I live in Australia. Spoonfest is what? to me over here. This whole world of greenwood carving is a beautiful world you open up to the world. Even in my small way I have been able to make spoons with heart and warmth to gift to people. Thank you for sharing this beautiful skill that allows us all to give something from our hands and heart 💓 Thank you!

Great video - thank you Zed and Nic. I noticed the belt was pretty course on the grinder for the ‘tidying up’ grind - will you be talking more about what belts used to rough shape, refine and then sharpen as the video series progresses?

Still not got any curved spoon knives for sale on his website though. Man, I haunted that website for years and they were never available. I do fancy one of those turning sloyd's though.

Not sure if you watched my video with Nic where he talked about his main selection of curved tools, but worth checking that if you haven't done so already. Yep, his tools are in high demand and the only ones that are ready to buy are on his 'Hewn & Hone' website ~Peace~

It's not easy as you say. I keep finding that supplies dry up, in the past I have even imported it in quantity from Turkey.
